From 1964 through 1992, Dennis Henry took 8mm and Super-8mm color movies of trains in the Midwest, West, and Canada. These original films (formerly released as a two-tape VHS set) have been upgraded with additional footage and digitally recorded, edited, and reorganized into this 107-minute DVD "Indiana, Minnesota, and Early Amtrak Railroad Memories: 1964-72." The original films are silent and color, but an accurate and personal narration by the photographer has been added to the scenes. The films were shot and edited mostly with Bolex equipment, but they are amateur films, with most scenes photographically good to excellent.
