YMO Live BOX: The August 4, 1979 LA performance released as a single analog record!
The first in a series of individual releases from the limited edition box set "YMO 1979 TRANS ATLANTIC TOUR LIVE ANTHOLOGY," which captures the entire 1979 overseas tour of YMO. Released simultaneously on CD and LP. YMO's first overseas performance was as a special guest for The Tubes' performances at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, USA, over three days: August 2, 3, and 4, 1979. "YMO LIVE AT THE GREEK THEATRE 08/04/1979" contains all seven songs from the final day, August 4th. Supervised by Haruomi Hosono, the mixing and mastering were done by world-renowned engineer Goh Hotoda from the multi-track master, and disc cutting was done by Shinya Matsushita of Piccolo Audio Works.
